Supporting Ukraine is in our national interest. We can now tip the balance in favor of Ukraine with a defense policy of MORE, BETTER, and FASTER.

There is a constitutional right to a ballot measure in the MS Constitution. That right did not go away when the Supreme Court invalidated the mechanism to get on the ballot. The Senate’s refusal to create a new mechanism/restore the right is a constitutional violation.

Thank you Speaker Jason White for leading on the ballot initiative issue today! The legislation passed by the House is a great first step towards the people regaining their constitutional right to access the ballot via the initiative process.

MDAH kicked off commemoration of America250 by hosting a Naturalization Ceremony at the Two Mississippi Museums. By an oath of citizenship administered by U.S. District Judge Daniel P. Jordan III, seventy-eight people became American citizens.
