There is a constitutional right to a ballot measure in the MS Constitution. That right did not go away when the Supreme Court invalidated the mechanism to get on the ballot. The Senate’s refusal to create a new mechanism/restore the right is a constitutional violation.

MDAH kicked off commemoration of America250 by hosting a Naturalization Ceremony at the Two Mississippi Museums. By an oath of citizenship administered by U.S. District Judge Daniel P. Jordan III, seventy-eight people became American citizens.
