Fab efforts of our Clinical Skills Edin team in using virtual reality to enable students the opportunity to view medical interactions through the patients eyes as part of Edinburgh Medical School Y1 Empathy, communication and wellbeing teaching.

Hurtling towards the end of a busy few months of exams for both real patients and simulated patients. First up finalising planning for Paces Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh next week. Then summer work planning with Bryan Edinburgh SP Programme, Alice (and Trish Trisha Lamb behind the 📷)!

Trisha did a sterling job flying the flag for EPPSAT at the Volunteer Edinburgh yesterday! Lots of interest with hopefully more patients getting involved in Edinburgh Medical School Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh assessments! Our patients even came to help promote us. Thank you.

It was fantastic to have some of our The University of Edinburgh simulated patient colleagues attend Clinical Skills Edin yesterday as part of the Edinburgh Summer School in Clinical Education ESSCE. Their input was invaluable in the discussions on OSCE station design. Thanks to all involved👏
