Although we lost to Minnesota in a 7/10 game in 2019, a reason I would take my chances at a 7 seed is because unlike 2019 we did start off preseason ranked. Also unlike a 5 seed, likely wouldn’t have to travel as far on top of how strong the 1 seeds look.

With all the post game comments and commentary I heard last night and today, I wonder how does this team and Kelsey himself recover and move forward from now with all the criticism besides them trying the same things that continue to result in losses against the best teams?

Although I heard Mike’s refrain about how this all won’t matter if they went on a March run, the way some people have reacted after last night it sounds as if the fanbase has gotten smaller as some might have jumped ship.

The reason I would rather NOT be a 6 seed in the NCAAT, is NO 6 seed has made a Final Four SINCE 1992 and to be honest, even I don’t see us as being that special to break that shutout trend for 6s. Just because we made an E8 as a 6 in 1997 DOES NOT mean it can happen again.

Ever felt intimidated about being approached by someone you felt you were too different from or no match with even if you liked them?

Based on all the criticism and negative reactions to last night, Kelsey, his staff and the players are going to have to earn the trust of many fans back to them. To them, his record against quality opponents, roster construction and porous defense has broken their enthusiasm.

Can anyone sell me on why we still can compete for an ACC tournament championship despite Kelsey’s clear learning on the job deficiencies?

As much as we complained and scrutinized Kelsey’s coaching competencies over Monday night’s game, one thing that has not been discussed has been very apparent: Poor road preparation: Louisville Men's Basketball is 3-6 in true road games this season and 5 of those losses were vs. Q1A.

Since covid, the ONLY ACC team to make a national championship game: North Carolina (2022). The reason Duke hasn’t? Despite having annual one and done freshmen, their guard play which has been ignored because of freshmen talent has been outshined by opponents.

ACCT title scenarios: #5 seed in Philadelphia or Buffalo, potentially seeing #4 Michigan St or Nebraska and possibly hyper athletic Arizona in the S16 (San Jose). #5 seed in Tampa potentially facing Vanderbilt or Alabama, then possibly seeing Michigan in the S16 (Chicago).

Regardless of what happens, I’m not going to get disappointed or lose sleep if the nominee loses a close race in the general election. Trump +14 is more so the peak at this point for a Republican in a statewide election as the state continues to change.
