Just shared with a student the advice my therapist, also a writer, gave me. At some point in a large project, self-doubts creep in: it’s too hard, too overwhelming, you could quit, etc. But you simply cannot entertain those thoughts. Tell yourself, It’s happening; I’m doing it.
