Happy “by the way, I’m leaving the country tomorrow and will return right before the deadline day” To all who celebrate. Extensions for all!

When a business owner calls for a status update…but their wife who does the books never sent in the docs and asked for an extension … Awkward

IRS vendor levy- vendor hired an attorney &set up new company, so cust can pay the new company going forward and ignore the Notice of Levy. sounds unethical for sure, but is it illegal? Thoughts? Not even lots of $. I wish they’d called the irs for penalty help & pmt plan.

My work email isn’t synced to my new phone…and I’m actually loving not being able to check it. Do you have your work email on your phone?

You have clients that balk at paying $100 and then you have clients that accidentally double pay their $150,000 extension payment….

“She made us promise that she could die at home” It sounds good to die at home. But home health care is ~$1,000 per DAY. >$350,000 per year on home health care…for multiple years. And the patient isn’t cognizant enough to know she’s at home. Is this a fair request? Prob not.

C is running three companies, with two cash and one accrual, out of one Quickbooks Online file. This is not what classes are for. And- they’ll end up paying us more to fix this crap than they would have paid for three different QBO files.

So hypothetically, if someone received ERC money they weren’t eligible for and they already cashed the checks…now what? Can they send it back? How? Someone tell me why, in 2025, we are still dealing with ERC madness.
