Quite interesting. (I worked in a lab studying indoor tanning behaviors back in undergrad and now it comes full circle.)

Attending today telling a patient to “do the DEW—drink, eat, and walk” really had me laughing and spoke to my Tennessee heart.

Participating in a virtual rotation this month offered through ACCP in Benign Heme. This has been a great opportunity and I wish this was offered more frequently to spread the wealth of knowledge we have in Heme/Onc topics we have out there!

Looking for information on venetoclax (aza/ven for AML)dose reductions with multiple moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors and recent amiodarone exposure. Not super concerned about TLS -but more so for not reducing dose enough leading to prolonged cytopenias or dose reducing too much.

Really bummed I’ll be missing HOPA this year due to work travel restrictions. Patient safety is our highest priority though. So glad HOPARX is working with those of us that can’t attend and letting us change registrations to attend virtually. 🙌🏻
