Stuart Mesa celebrated Unity Day by wearing orange and standing together against bullying.

We had a great turnout at our Stuart Mesa Bingo Night put on by the PTO! Thank you parents for coming out with your kids for a fun family evening.

Stuart Mesa celebrates Veterans Day!

We had another successful Lunch on the Lawn at Stuart Mesa! It was great having our parents and students on campus today.

This week is the Great Kindness Challenge. Our students celebrated kindness by writing kind notes, making a "Kindness" banner, and having kindness-themed dress-up days. Our middle school and TK students are in ties because kindness ties us together.

It’s day 100 at Stuart Mesa. Students dressed as if they were 100 years old, counted to 100, made 100 day necklaces, created “We are 100 days smarter” ties and so much more.

Stuart Mesa is getting a facelift in the front of the school with new landscaping and repairs. Thank you OUSD for the upgrade!

Local Southern California author and producer, John Lamb, launched our “Read Across America” week by reading his book “Varmits,” a book about respect. Our librarian, Mrs. Cruz, organized the event, and the students loved meeting a real live author in person.

Today, Stuart Mesa had our USMC Fittness Challenge. TK through 8th grade participated in obstacles to build strength and endurance. A big thank you to all the Marines who came to help!

Congratulations to our Base Students who were chosen for the OUSD Honor Band. On Saturday at OHS, they rehearsed several pieces of music and received small group coaching. Their day ended with a concert that included Jefferson, Chavez, Lincoln, and King Middle Schools.

Stuart Mesa’s Madison B. was chosen to EMCC the SDCOE’s Salute to Purple Star Schools. She did an amazing job. Stuart Mesa was one of the 87 schools that received the designation for dedication and service to our military families.

Stuart Mesa celebrated another great lunch on the lawn today. We had over 350 parents and family members in attendance. It was amazing to see families spending time together at school!

April is the Month of the Military Child. Stuart Mesa students are celebrating with dress-up days, creating dandelion bookmarks, and sharing their family adventures across the United States.

National University partnered with National Military Family Association to provide military-connected students the opportunity to reflect on what service means to them. Mrs. Barnes' class virtually joined with classrooms in 20 states in discussion and creation of service medals.

Stuart Mesa TK and kindergarten students are so excited! They’re on their way to the San Diego Safari animal park.

Stuart Mesa’s got talent! Our students performed their talent show performances for their parents today in MPR. They were amazing.
