St Kitts & Nevis 🇰🇳 laboratory has substantially increased it's capacity to diagnose #COVID19 & also #Influenza, #Dengue & other infections. Thanks to USAID/Eastern and Southern Caribbean support, IT equipment were donated by PAHO-WHO Caribbean to the lab to improve surveillance. JNF Hospital lab used Google Drive to automate information management. IT solutions are key to overcoming the HR reality of SIDS like St Kitts & Nevis - the EMT in Alexandra Hospital in Nevis also does surveillance. Thanks to USAID/Eastern and Southern Caribbean support, PAHO/WHO is supporting this.

Using the World Health Organization (WHO) risk assessment tool in St Vincent & the Grenadines for CELAC heads of state meeting, the Ministry of Health & NEMO SVG assessed their preparations. This will serve for the ICC Cricket World Cup as well. Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) & PAHO/WHO Emergencies-OPS/OMS Emergencias collaborated with the Govt on this.
