First Minister John Swinney and Social Justice Secretary Shirley-Anne Somerville hosted a roundtable with partners about eradicating child poverty. They discussed measures in the Budget, including funding for employability services, and the next Tackling Child Poverty Delivery Plan.

Eradicating child poverty is my government’s number one priority, and I want to unite all of Scotland behind that aim. Earlier today I hosted a roundtable at Bute House with partners, discussing the specific measures to achieve our shared goal.
