Romance is a must for me. Thoughtfulness in general is important but I also love a thoughtfulness that sits outside everyday routine. Thrill me, surprise me, make me feel extra special. Healthy relationships without romance might exist, but that’s not for me. I want it all.

I'll never forget Michelle Obama saying we need to "plan our joy" in an interview with Oprah. I'm so intentional about planning dates with friends, self care appointments, fitness classes, and trips now. I always have something to look forward to. Keeps me excited about life.

I want anniversaries . I want someone to look at me and can’t imagine life without me. I want unconditional love. I want healthy communication. I want the fireworks that never die. Butterflies even after we’re months/years in. I want year(s) with someone.
