Is there a parks crisis? What am I missing in #ralpol? It still shocks me that affordable housing was supposedly the mayor of Raleigh’s moonshot. Yet, the park’s pond exceeds the affordable housing bond by $195 million dollars!! How does that make sense?

Yesterday while canvassing I met a man who said he didn’t bother to flip over the ballot because he didn’t do his research on the local election. I was floored. We talked about the bonds and the local fight for democracy + a just future. He apologized for not taking the time

I learned that the Cape Proud Boys were targeting children and parents today at the Umami restaurant at Hillsborough St during drag story hour. The Proud Boys harass LGBTQIA+ communities, and this is why we need to provide safe spaces for the LGBTQIA+ in our city.
