After 2.5 years at my current job I've decided it's time to pursue new challenges. Today is my last day. I'm proud of the things we accomplished, but am looking forward to new adventures ahead!!!

I finally cracked React.js for the first time as part of a technical assessment. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would feel heavier than Vue 3. I may have to explore it a little more 😀. Scott Nimrod

Well that sucks. I was pursuing a job at a startup in a similar space to my last job, but forgot to revisit my employment agreement and of course there is a 1 year non-compete clause. I shut down further interviews. I feel like a total jerk for wasting their time :(

Bought my kids Meta Quest 3 at Walmart. My son's was great, but my daughters is some scammer's returned junk. 🤬

My son said he was learning phonics in school today and cited the "I before E except after C" rule as one of the things he learned... I took great joy in informing him that this rule has been disproved by science.
