The bill is to be sent to the Joint committee of the parliament. What does this mean? It means the parliament can consider and recommend to pass this Bill now in this session or seek extension of the session or defer it to the next session of the Parliament. One thing is clear

Clearly it is an amendment to the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill. It could be: - Statehood? - Changes in the existing administrative structure? - More powers to CM but no control on law & order? Anything. The truth only the PM & the Union Minister knows it.
