honestly think we're addicted to suffering in this country. any rhetoric of hope and radical change is always dismissed as naïve, so politicians opt for punitive measures to be taken seriously - even when it's a poor economic choice. i'm so tired of this kind of politics.

Pretending that disabled and working class writers need the Water-Guzzling Plagiarism Machine to write is so offensive, I’m actually impressed.

oh as a disabled writer i am fucking furious about this disabled writers do not need the immoral theft machine to write because we lack the ability to be creative without plagiarism - encouraging AI is a slap in the face to all writers and this excuse is appallingly ableist

This this this! Also I would argue AI is threatening most jobs that are accessible to me as a disabled writer- I’m a writer, editor and proofreader and AI is directly threatening those roles.

You know what’s classist? Acting like poor people need a computer to write their books for them instead of money and support to help facilitate their art.

People alwayes saye herding cattes ys difficult. But the true mattir ys that cattes do not evir need to be herded. Cattes knowe exactlye what to do at all tymes. If you are herding cattes, you have alreadye lost your waye. Trust the cattes. Trust their litel whiskers.

I just feel like disability has been increasingly used as an excuse/justification for AI in creative fields, especially illustration and writing. But disabled people have been making art without AI forever! And they will continue to do so!
