I just submitted my last assignment as a student at Marist. I can’t believe I graduate with my Master’s one week from today.

Today was the last day with my first graders. This year was tough, but I am so grateful to have worked with these students ❤️

👍✌️👋👆🤙 When it's time for a class discussion, T Shane Saeed's "Talk Moves" make it easy for every S to contribute, online or in person – from dropping an emoji to sharing a hand signal! instagram.com/p/CGN7EfBBs1e/ #StudentVoice

What exit ticket questions do you ask your Ss, regardless of the class material? Educator Ranesia Davenport Edwards, M.Ed. |Doctoral Student encourages learners to draw pictures, acknowledge what they've learned and communicate their needs to their T! #TeacherPD #TeacherTwitter #TeacherHack

Today was my last day of ESY. I loved making connections with these students for the short time I had them. We celebrated all of their hard work with a dance party!

I think the biggest thing I’ve discovered so far this year is that some days are really challenging and I might often feel like I don’t know what to do, but my priority will always be the safety and well-being of my students ❤️

It was my first Halloween as a teacher and I love that my SPED team all got on board with our crazy idea to coordinate. And I love that a member of my 3rd grade team joined me as another critical school supply.

I was in a PPT today for one of my students and his parents said that even though they know he still struggles, they’ve seen so much progress this year and he’s finally happy to be going to school. And those are the moments that make me proud as a SPED teacher ☺️

New door decoration! One of my student’s rewards for positive behavior is to help make bulletin board letters & shapes. He loves it! So, I let him come up with the idea for my door and he helped me complete the project. I love how it turned out and I love how I could involve him!

And just like that, my first year of teaching is over. I’m so grateful for the relationships I made with my students, their parents, and my coworkers 💙
