Pob hwyl to the National Eisteddfod, which opens in Pontypridd today. The festival is a treasure trove of Welsh-language arts, and we're delighted that Iphigenia yn Sblot will premiere here on Monday, and will be performed every night until Friday. 📷: Mark Douet

Something I ADORED about #Iphigeniaynsplott was the ‘informal’ Welsh. The missed mutations meant that this version upheld the beautiful Diff vernacular + Welsh as a living language, which was amazing to see at the Eisteddfod! Congrats Sherman Theatre / Theatr y Sherman and team! 🩷 Gorgeous!
