I was very pleased to listen to jeremydenk tonight at Changing Hands Bookstore. He's so eloquent. My judgment of him as a pianist is, of course, amateurish, but I can unequivocally say he is a great writer. I'm looking forward to hearing him play this weekend with The Phoenix Symphony.

As I was reading last night, I came across a character who was a near carbon-copy of one I was writing in my current WIP. Of course, Walker Percy did it much better than I, but I can still revise. I'm afraid that option is now lost to Percy.
