#kyadmin Hey #kyadmin! Been on a long hiatus from Twitter. But glad to be back. Shelee Clark, principal at Lakewood Elementary. I don’t really remember my longest flight as I was a child. The flight was from New York to Germany.

A1. Planning awards ceremonies, scheduling changes for field day and talent shows, prepping for the new year with hiring committees, and trying to mix in a little fun. #kyadmin

A2. Our closing day tradition includes finishing all the work by noon and then heading to a local restaurant to eat and celebrate retirements. #kyadmin

A2. As the buses head out the last day we all go out to wave and sometimes brave young teachers do cartwheels. #kyadmin

A3. We purchase a personalized door hanger from a local artist for each person leaving our school (moving jobs, resigning, etc). We purchase a a larger item for our retirees based on what we know about them…suitcases for travel, rocking chairs for the porch, jewelry… #kyadmin
