Is it just me or has NZ Post gotten pretty good at delivering packages recently? Which is ironic timing really, since it feels like getting things shipped TO NZ has gotten particularly sh... less good recently.

I used a modified telescope to capture high-speed video of the eclipse at a long focal length. Seeing the lumpy mountains of the moon against a backdrop of churning plasma is incredibly surreal. (I hope you weren't sick of eclipse posts 😜)

In that glorious week between Xmas and NYE when you don't know what day it is. I do know I must be in South East Asia somewhere however, because the humidity is off the fucking charts.

Achieved my running goal for 2023 today with a bit of extra effort this week. 2500km in 250 hours 40 minutes. 50 half marathons complete. 123km this week with 5 consecutive half marathons. Feeling pretty good about this.
