We went on a trip to Lytham with our two Chorley schemes Places for People Customer Support last week, we went to Lytham Hall for starters, some people looked round the Stately Home -we had lunch there and then went onto the shops in Lytham, looking round charity shops- they loved it, what a great day.

We went on a trip to Bents Garden Centre in Warrington with the residents of Moorside, Manchester, Places for People Customer Support scheme last week. Everyone enjoyed it, they shopped till they dropped. We had lunch in the restaurant, lovely day.

We went on a BBC Children in Need trip last week to the Anderton Centre. We did a leap of faith, where we climbed up a tree and jumped off, and then we did a survival skills/ Bush tucker which was great, we made fire first, and ate nam bread, popcorn and marshmallows- what a great day it was.

We went on a Pub lunch this week with a couple of our Bury Schemes Places for People Customer Support schemes to Owens restaurant in Ramsbottom, it was a nice day and food there was good. Got time to talk to the residents and got to know where they were going on holiday for 2025

We went to Lytham with our Blackburn schemes this week Places for People Customer Support - we started off at lytham hall and had a coffee and a walk in the woods, then we went into lytham and shopped a lot . We had lunch there , lots of nice shops in Lytham. Great day.

We went on a trip to Morecambe with our Clifton House residents Places for People Customer Support schemes- We got there and all did our own things, we went for a coffee, amusements, we went into the Midland Hotel had lunch overlooking the beach, it was very relaxing being in there- all enjoyed it.

We went on a targeted trip with our you club BBC Children in Need - we went for a walk in nature to a Astley Park on the play area. Then we went for a Macdonalds to Chorley- Euxton, where they showed us round and we got to make our own ice creams/ lovely trip McDonald's UK

We went on a ten pin bowling trip with our two Blackburn Schemes - Hornby Court and Kinross place placesforpeople . Everybody thoroughly enjoyed it, they were knocking strikes down like there was no tomorrow. Really enjoyed the day - Ian won from Hornby Court. Great day out.

We took from 2 places in Bury / Ashton Lodge and Hamilton House to a pub lunch at the Railway , Ramsbottom. We all had a great time, nice food and sweets. Nice to talk to people away about families and where they are going on holidays this year. Lovely Day

We took our Clifton House, a scheme in Fulwood placesforpeople on a Pub Lunch to the Sherwood. We all had a Lovely time here, with some of us getting to know more about the families and holidays. Nice food, some of us had sweets, look at these

We took our Bury Schemes placesforpeople to Tatton Park last week, a wonderful day. We had lunch there and some of us went in the mansion, and some of us went in the gardens. The mansion was lovely to see how it all went on going back to the 1800s lots history- we all enjoyed it

We took our Preston schemes placesforpeople to Southport last week for their summer trip. We took Hunniball court and St Paul’s. It was rainy but we all enjoyed ourselves having lunch and ice creams. And some of us went in the arcades, we had a walk along Lord Street- great day

We had our BBC Children in Need play and eat last week with a Preston North End coach. We had games, fox and rabbit and others. - and then we all went back for a hot meal and a sweet to the Place - great day with 25 there.

We had a games afternoon at our two Chorley schemes last week - 16 there placesforpeople - we had strawberries and cream, cream cakes, with an afternoon tea- we had a quiz with prizes and then played prize bingo. What and enjoyable afternoon it was, everybody enjoyed it.

We have had 3 play and eats for the summer holiday funded by BBC Children in Need where we have a PNE coach there Preston North End FC and they play sports for an hour. Then back to the Place and have a home cooked meal and sweet - we have had pasta and banana splits, jackets cheese/beans/ice cream-lovely

We have had one trips over the summer holiday funded by BBC Children in Need , we have been to a beach trip to lytham, where we flew kites on the beach had lunch, then went down to get an ice cream, under the waterfall - then down to the arcades, a great enjoyable day.

We had another trip -one to Swim Fun in Chorley funded by BBC Children in Need , they all had a great time in there -playing with float and diving in. Then we went to McDonald’s in euxton where we had a Happy Meal with a McFlurry- every body really enjoyed this - what a great day it was.

We went to Blackburn trampolines at Flip Out- funded by BBC Children in Need . What a great day they had bouncing around on all the trampolines, hangers and ball pool. And afterwards they went to McDonald’s to get a drinks and a Mcfluffy What a great day out.

We then went to Smithils Farm at Bolton, Progress Housing Grp We fed all the animals -Goats, donkey, cows, Horses, pigs , sheep, lamas. We went on a tractor ride which was very bumpy, we all had a wonderful time there, then we played on the the playground -had lunch, funded by BBC Children in Need

We went to Blackpool Sandcastle for our last trip which was wonderful funded by BBC Children in Need and we took children from Wade Hall - Progress Housing Grp We went on slides, in the lazy river, the waves pool everything was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
