Double trouble: Prosthetic valve obstruction is a condition associated with significant morbidity and mortality. The most common causes of obstruction include valve thrombosis or pannus formation. However, it is very rare to find both, particularly, in a bioprosthetic valve!

UK OPCAB training needs survey results finally published. Survey with 10 questions was conducted on 141 cardiothoracic surgery trainees in the UK & Ireland, representing 14 training programs. The overall response rate was 75%, with diverse responses. authors.elsevier.com/a/1ixl7gQl0dlX
