The Kansas Department of Transportation is temporarily closing the Trading Post rest area on U.S. 69 near K-52 in Linn County so a water line can be repaired. Work is in progress and could be done as soon as Friday afternoon or Friday evening.

Beginning Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, the Kansas Department of Transportation plans to begin a field survey to gather information necessary for proposed pavement rehabilitation south of Humboldt in Allen County. The survey of U.S. 169 will start at 1150th Road and go north 3.5 miles.
