Lots of creative problem solving for Year 9 this week both in completing their Micro:bit Educational Foundation Python reaction game (with sound and Kitronik Inventors Kit) as well as starting to create sprites for a platform game Sedbergh Academic


Year 9 worked to solve a Christmas Minecraft Education build problem with lots of innovative ideas generated .. from a giant Santa to a north pole scene with an igloo styled home! #creative



BTEC IT had a brilliant talk from our wonderful marketing department on how to manage an online presence, providing lots of content for their 10 marker assessment question and social media unit. Sedbergh Academic




Year 9 have worked well this week to create a guessing game in Python, learning about coding decision and loops! Sedbergh Academic

Year 10 did a topic refresher on data representation testing their mental maths by converting binary and hexadecimal in 20 second questions with Kahoot!. Well done to Seb who won, leading for much of the quiz! Sedbergh Academic School House

Year 9 have been working on developing their own quiz games in Python with lots of topics covered from French to Fortnite! Sedbergh Academic


Year 10 have been developing their coding and decomposition skills by creating a range of different flags! Sedbergh Academic
