Provincial officials have reported that recent dog deaths in #Fredericton were caused by the animals ingesting blue-green algae. Signs will be posted. Pet owners should supervise pets along water, don’t let them eat vegetation or swim where there is an algae bloom. (1/2)

(2/2) Humans should also watch for visible signs of algae blooms. If you swim, don’t swallow the water and bathe / shower afterwards. Don’t enter the water with open wounds or cuts. Find out more at the Province’s blue-green algae web page: ow.ly/l7cW30lg0Er
