Tonight, the students were treated to a movie night! They each enjoyed a free popcorn, candy, and soda. Thank you so much to The Athena Cinema for hosting this event! They were able to vote bracket-style throughout the week, and they chose The Post (2017). Landslide result!😁

We had a very strong sports group at High School Journalism Workshop - Ohio University. The students wrote stories about mental health issues in college sports, gambling, the Copperheads, etc. Mike Marot shared his experiences covering Caitlin Clark. I talked about my recent trip to the NBA Draft.

It was a pleasure to work with so many great prospective OU Journalism students at the High School Journalism Workshop - Ohio University this week. Thank you to David Jablonski and Mike Marot for all the time, effort and advice. Also special thank you to Jeff Boals and Southern Ohio Copperheads for talking with our students.

That's a wrap on the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism High School Journalism Workshop at Ohio University! It was awesome being back for the first time as an instructor. I met many great people. A huge thanks to all with High School Journalism Workshop - Ohio University that put this great program together.
