Spoke to a linguist and #ChatGPT zealot. She was excited about it being used for feedback in online language learning. I ran a translation into German through it against the one my brain did. I asked it to identify errors and it wanted to change everything in mine. Not excited.

My 6 year old son complained today he hates school and doesn't want to go anymore because he is uncomfortable sitting on the carpet. First response: "sorry but you just have to do it" but deep down I remembered how torturous it felt. Wondering if it's just a British thing 😄

Watching Beef recently made Smashing Pumpkins' Mayonaise play in my dream where I was at a party and my late dad was there too. Best dream ever.

Just as I actually pluck up the courage to play a random stranger at online chess they resign a few moves in just because I got their queen. They were so hasty that they didn't see I was sacrificing my rook. Please don't overestimate me.😆

My 4 year old had a meeting with head and deputy before starting reception in September. They asked her what language she speaks at home (her dad is Asian). She casually says "French and Spanish, stuff like bonjour and hola". Took me by surprise.

MFL teachers. My year 9 and 10s both said their brains can't work with grid based sentence builders. Does anyone else have this issue?
