#MSCAjobalert: Research assistant (ESR) in Physics within the #MSCA #ITN CORAL at the joint research team of the Experimental Solid State Group Imperial Physics Riccardo Sapienza & Materials Integration and Nanoscale Devices group IBM Research. Deadline: 18/01 euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/508392

New preprint out on how to harness quantum graph theory to simulate lasers on networks arxiv.org/abs/2203.16974. Thanks Dhruv Saxena, Riccardo Sapienza as well as the rest of the team for this long but rewarding journey!

Wonderful collaboration between groups in UCL Chemistry and Imperial Physics! We got these measurements during the pandemic! 😷💪 Here is a pic of us in the lab, with Manish Trivedi & Wai Kit Ng. Check out our paper in Nature Physics

Colloidal random lasers are hard to design and control. Research in Nature Physics shows that combining optically controlled micro-heaters with thermophilic particles attracted by them leads to microlasers with programmable and reversible patterns. go.nature.com/3o6McFC

Thank you Neda Ghofraniha for the nice news&views on our recent experiment nature.com/articles/s4156… Giorgio Volpe Wai Kit Ng, Manish Trivedi, Dhruv Saxena

We just did a new experiment with complex lasers that look like a spider web - or a mathematical graph Imperial Physics. A thread 🧵 1/9 imperial.ac.uk/news/241354/sp…

A nice podcast "On Your Wavelength" with @MeinzerNina and Ankita Anirban around our latest time-diffraction experiment shows.acast.com/on-your-wavele… (how cringe to listen to your own voice! 😀 )

New paper from our team Imperial College London IBM Europe Anna Fischer Riccardo Sapienza @KEMoselund We made a laser with a network topology that is highly sensitive to pump illumination to enable applications in machine vision and signal processing. More here: doi.org/10.1002/lpor.2…
