A legend within the Liberal Democrats & LGA Lib Dems family. Only recently I talked to a friend who lead a LD group of 14 cllrs in Bexley in 1994 when 24 Tories & 24 Labour cllrs were elected. Andrew's advice through his ALDC role, was critical to a stable 4 year deal.

Devastated to hear this news regarding Andrew Stunell. As a former Chief Whip of the Liberal Democrats in the Commons, he was a kind, thoughtful and pragmatic giver of advice. Thoughts with his family and his Lib Dem Lords colleagues.

Following last week's meeting of Bromley Council's Renewal, Recreation & Housing Committee, Councillors approved an £11.1m phased renewal of the Walnuts Leisure Centre in Orpington.
The project is set to run from early 2025 to March 2026.
