You wake up to buy some puts and realize the market is already 1% down and IV 30% higher. 🤬

$ES $SPY $SPX a little ticked off… more effort for charting today as I was hoping for a flat or green open. This support will break. The question is do we get a dead cat bounce here which is roughly $SPY 640 or do we dive right on down?

$SPY Looks like September will be taking no prisoners. 🐻📉🩸I have puts for December that I might take profits on at the open then reposition on a bounce. 639-637 is big support, even if it gets broken, I except it to be reclaimed and gap above it before we continue selling off.

Ran a futures contract down before the bell when I saw the fall wasn’t stopping… another quick scalp right after open for 70% 🤘. Contracts bought at 1.07-1.2 and offloaded between 1.7-2.1. I saw the +gamma building on $SPX at 6400 and went for it. Looks like a theta and IV burn

$SPY 6430 gamma was chased after the closing bel partly on $AAPL news. Scalped a large amount of 636 0DTE calls earlier and sold them off for +10-300% gain before falling asleep. Keeping the entire position until 414pm eastern would have netted a $57k profit but with a risk
