It was exciting to join the DOGE Committee for dinner. Thank you to all the members who served on this committee!  It has been a blessing to be part of the beginning of a new and impactful committee and I will continue to work towards fighting for a more efficient Texas!

The Texas Legislature has been hard at work this long weekend. With the end of session quickly approaching, there is so much to be done. Since I wasn’t able to spend time with my family back at home, they visited me! #txlege

🇺🇲 In honor of Memorial Day, we recognize all the fallen heroes who served our nation. We can never repay the sacrifice made by those military members and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

Settling in for another 14-hour workday. Today, we have a significant deadline: all Senate bills must be passed for the first time by midnight. The days are long, but it’s always worth it for the privilege of representing HD 92!

Only a few minutes left to pass Senate bills. Thanks to Joe Moody for making sure we don’t lose track of time, and thanks to John Lujan for keeping us entertained with ping pong stories from his fire-fighting days!

I love spreading sweetness on the House Floor! 🍫 Throughout the session, I’ve always kept a stash of Hershey Kisses on my desk - sparking countless conversations, laughter, and smiles!
