While Herzog’s retirement from coaching is a big loss for Red Wing, he’ll have time now to travel to watch his daughters play college golf in the Big Ten, Stephanie at Iowa and Leah at Nebraska

The U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifier and U.S. Junior Girls Amateur Qualifier has wrapped up, the medalists were Nathaniel Adams shooting 69 and Leah Herzog shooting 71!

Isabella McCauley finished -1 today to win the 13-15 div. & overall MN Girls Jr PGA Champ with a 2-day score of 141. Sophia Yoemans won the 16-18 div. with a 2-day score of 143 and was 2nd overall. They will represent MN @ National Girls Jr PGA Champ Jul 9-12, in Hartford, CT

Minnesota has won the Cup Matches for the 4th year in a row! Minnesota won the singles matches 13.5 to 10.5, for a two-day total of 21 to 15. The history-long standings are 12-10-1 in Wisconsin’s favor. It was a great competition from both MN Juniors and Wisconsin PGA players!

Mark Herzog and his State Champion Golf Team was honored today by Region 1AA. In 30 years of coaching golf at RWHS, Mark’s teams went to the state tournament 20 TIMES. His teams finished 1st or 2nd 11 TIMES. ReMARKable. Happy retirement, Mark. You will be missed. #WingerPride
