Our best efforts at security are really just smoke and mirrors. Only through God is true security found. Submit your plans to God if you want them to succeed.

Sorrow lasts for the night, but joy comes in the morning. God has greater things ahead for us than anything we leave behind.

Giving isn’t just an action. It’s an attitude of the heart. Cheer and giving go hand in hand. God doesn’t need our money. He wants our heart. But the surest measure of our hearts is what we’re willing to give back.

You can’t spell love with fear. The letters just don’t work. Fear holds us back from giving our everything. That’s why true love isn’t possible from a place of fear.

What type of thoughts take up real estate in your mind? The News. There’s nothing wrong with being informed, but when the stress and anxiety and punditry of the 24-hour news cycle fills your mind, it’s a recipe for thoughts that lead us away from God’s peace.

If God can forgive us the sins that should otherwise separate us from Him for all eternity, surely we can show mercy to those who wrong us. Mercy for others isn’t just a nice idea; it’s a command.

Why do you think God told His people to approach this way? God loves when we approach Him wholeheartedly, keeping nothing back.

Better is one true word from God than a thousand pretty lies. How have you personally found hope through God’s Word?

Notice that the Golden Rule is proactive. Not only do we not hurt others, but we actively bless others. In business, in relationships, in church, at school…this principle applies to every area of our lives.
