Today kids experienced Hispanic Heritage Month! They learned about Guatemala’s national symbols such as the flag, El Quetzal, La Ceiba, La Monja Blanca, La Marimba, etc. They also tried on some traditional clothes. Baker Elementary Reach for the Stars Program


What can you make when you have paper bags, crepe paper, glue, and scissors? A piñata!! The kids had fun making their piñata. Lots of cutting, gluing, and a big mess but it was worth it! Reach for the Stars Program Baker Elementary


Today we learned the colors in Spanish. The kids made a color wheel and labeled it. Some of them went above and beyond and added more colors to their wheel. I love it when kids want to learn more! 😃Reach for the Stars Program Baker Elementary

Astrokids learned about a solar eclipse today. Some of them became the Sun, Moon, and Earth. When the ones playing the Moon got in the middle of the Sun and Earth there was a solar eclipse. 🤣 Then, they made their pictures. Reach for the Stars Program Baker Elementary
