Staged (I assume) set on the Disney-MGM Studios Backlot Tour, in June, 1989, back when there was still some hope of seeing actual TV or film production taking place on the backlot

I'll stick with the Disney-MGM Studios theme and celebrate May the Fourth with this photo of my first time seeing Star Tours, in March, 1990.

Here's something I was working on a while ago, but haven't finished. My goal is eventually to have a map where I can add/remove pavilions in photoshop to show EPCOT/Epcot at different times (though, I'll have to try to create the newer pavilions in this old style)

Here's something familiar from Disney-MGM Studios, though you may also notice something unusual in front of the Tower of Terror. I believe this was a stage for the grand opening of that attraction, which was about a month after this June, 1994 photo was taken.

Since we seem to be slowly iterating toward bringing back things that guests like about Disney World maybe it's time to invest in public works in the Studios again. (photos from June, 1989)

I'm playing around with some new photo processing software, so with #RetroMagic coming up I decided to go back and look at some old EPCOT Center pictures. I posted this one before from my first visit (likely my first view of the park) and like how it turned out.

A few park guests look over March, 1983 World Showcase Lagoon inside EPCOT Center, back when the Friendship boats were an important part of the experience and there were still stretches of empty space inside the park.

I kinda love that half my Disney feed is people posting photos from #RetroMagic . I've been going to RetroWDW.com events for as long as they've done them and keep telling people they need to be there. Glad word is getting around!

I have a flight to catch in the morning, so I can't stay up all night posting #RetroMagic photos, but huge thanks to these guys, all the volunteers, the guests, and other fans who once again made this event even better than the last. Haven't had this much fun in quite a while!

Mulling over John Decuir's thoughts during #RetroMagic about communities not as physical places these days and seeing how much EPCOT Center still means to so many people is one of the most hopeful things I've seen in a while. Maybe EPCOT is still alive today!

Why is the Wawa app so horrendous? I've spent 20 minutes trying to submit a mobile order and everything I do either brings me to an "unknown error" or endless loop of uselessness.

Enjoyment of Disney theme parks is directly correlated with the amount of water in the parks. Remove it and the overall experience gets worse.
