Popped up to Winch for some Thursday night Wessex League football. Colden Common FC 1-4 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐅𝐂 🚁 The CC GK definitely MoM & made some cracking saves but could do nothing to stop an early goal of the season contender, top corner on the volley from 35 yards!! 👌

Another horrendous week at work. But it's over now for the next ~60hours. 🙏 Only highlight was delivering to The Brew Forest micro brewery yesterday, so I picked up a couple of lovely looking cans for the weekend. Looking forward to Winch in FA Cup action tomorrow too! ❤️🖤🍺

I've only seen parts of tonights match and last weeks Community Shield & I'm thinking Liverpool look really good, but I can't be the only 1 thinking Van Dijk is their weak link. Looks garbage and far too slow???

MATCHDAY!!! Our road to Wembley starts today. Although I doubt we'll get that far, an FA Cup 1st round appearance for the 1st time in the clubs history is something I dream about every year around this time. Tough one today against a fellow SL side, but feeling confident! ❤️🖤

FA Cup football!!! Thought we'd lost it at the death but for a brilliant save from Tommy, then straight down the other end and thought we'd won it, but for another great save from their GK. Prob a fair result on the day. We go to The New Forest Tuesday! ❤️🖤

AND breathe.... FT Bashley 0-1 Winch Vastly improved performance tonight. Should've put a few more away 1st half to make it a bit more comfortable. Very nervy final few mins, but defended excellently. Fareham at home in the next round the reward. #UpTheWinch ❤️🖤

Spent all summer dreaming about Winch away days, but after tonights win, our 1st 6 Saturday matches of the season will have all been at home! 🤣

Back to Winch yet again tonight for Colden Common FC vs Fawley AFC 🏭 in the Hants Senior Cup. Decent competitive match with Common winning 2-0, ensuring my run of never seeing Fawley win, continues.

Obviously delighted with the 3 points today, but really need to start putting our chances away! When they made it 2-1 with 25 to play, thought I was gonna have a heart attack! 🤣 We're 80% there, and when we click, we're gonna be flying. Roll on Monday for Didcot away! ❤️🖤

Wife asked me this morning why I keep leaving for the game so early... Today was our 3rd Saturday home match in a row, and now 3 positive results on the spin.... So the superstitious inside me can't change my routine! All aboard the 11:14 again next Saturday!! ❤️🖤
