Can't discredit the value in convenience of access. Coffee shops are just wrappers for espresso machines. We can all pay to have our own at home. We can do the barista training. Once done we have unlimited coffee. Yet there's cafes everywhere... why is that? Convenience.

The usefulness of Threads won't become apparent until Twitter has another outage. Everyone is over there primed to post and now just need a reason to do so.
