20/24 localities have completed recounting votes. Good hasn’t gotten any additional votes so far. McGuire is on track to potentially gain 3 more votes after netting 4 earlier, possibly giving him 7 more votes than he originally had, according to a person familiar.

Breaking: In a letter obtained by 8News, Governor Glenn Youngkin tells Virginia's congressional delegation that Virginia will not be participating in the new IRS Direct File Program. The program would allow taxpayers to file their taxes online for free directly on the IRS' website.

Stefanik denied that polling has Harris with a comfortable lead in VA. Her argument relied on a recent Uni. Mary Washington poll showing Trump within the margin of error. She didn’t acknowledge multiple polls that have Harris w an 8-10 pt lead. Biden won VA by 10 pts. in 2020.
