A year ago I would not even guess that my org would be partnering on an LGBTQ+ phone bank with Rock the Vote! Come GOTV for the Georgia Run Off!

The Georgia runoff is today, but in the lead up to the election, teens and youth activists have used TikTok to get their peers to the polls. And so has Jon Ossoff and his campaign. My latest for NBC News: nbcnews.com/politics/polit…

I've really grown to love Georgia from organizing there, and this election makes me worry not only for the future of the Senate but also for the future of Georgians that have worked so hard to make it progress. Loeffler and Perdue do not represent that side of Georgia

With new votes joining the tally, we are on a strong path. But even while we wait for more, let’s celebrate the extraordinary organizers, volunteers, canvassers & tireless groups that haven’t stopped going since Nov. Across our state, we roared. A few miles to go...but well done!

Today is officially now thank an organizer day, so I’m thanking all the Georgia organizers for their amazing work!

As we celebrate the life and sacrifice of MLK jr. today. We must remember he was a disruptor to the status quo, and promoted accountability and fairness to all and for all. We remember the life and sacrifice of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to the cause of liberation and justice.

Pride always makes me happy and being in Chicago’s parade made my last month here really special. This city always finds ways to make you love it more.
