Just realised I’ve not posted much on twitter for the last months so I thought I’d do a bit of catch up with some prints and our Rochester darkroom/studio developments. How do people keep up with all these social media things when there is so much in real life?

These branches have a wonderful flow. Another salt print from a recent walk. Each image is a commitment of quite a few hours, from making and preparing the neg to seeing it dried & finished, Paper negatives add some extra challenges for the tonal range, that I am happy to wrestle

In other news, Hulkes Lane Darkroom & Studio have had a make over this week - new coats of paint and fine tuning the setup. We are opening soon (very gradually) #hldarkroom See some of the work in progress over at instagram.com/hldarkroom/

Photofriends - I am trying to write a list of classic photography groups/collectives. I want to find groups that included black and female members and who were active and influential pre-1990? Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Over the last year I have designed a few books for some fantastic photographers and artists and last week I finally got to see this beauty from Jonas Dahlström in the flesh. I’m so proud to have done the design, mirroring the lines in his photographs. Out now Kerber Verlag
