Beryl has strengthened to a category 3 hurricane and is expected make landfall on the Yucatan Friday morning emerging in the Gulf of Mexico as a Tropical Storm Friday night. Slow strengthening is expected as Beryl moves towards northeastern Mexico and southern Texas.
