Today at around 03:05 Am District Police along with the team of ANTF of the district conducted Naka checking at Lumdiengngan, Umroi NH-44 and intercepted 2 (two) Pickup vehicles arrested 1 (one) person and seized 45 packets of marijuana contraband weighed 236.89 Kgs.

One Lane of the NH06 (Shg-Ghy) Road) near Umsning is closed for Traffic and has been converted to one way for now as there has been an oil spill in one of the lanes and driving over it can be dangerous . Efforts are on to get the spilled oil cleaned up
