27 Sept 1915, Cpt the Hon Fergus Bowes-Lyon, Black Watch (Royal Highlanders), died, aged 26. Buried Quarry Cemetery, Vermelles. Killed Battle of Loos fighting on Hohenzollern Redoubt. Older brother of Queen Mother & Uncle to the late Queen. Left widow & 2-month-old daughter. #WW1
