Urging bars and restaurants to be good actors. Make compulsory charges/fees prominent and clear on menues and ensure servers and bartenders remind customers when giving them the check. This industry relies on trust—especially neighborhood establishments.

The viability of neighborhood establishments is not compatible with a budget airline approach to revenue generation. We need to find a better way.

Agree with Monica from elle DC . Let’s get rules in place to level the playing field and include all fees in menu prices. There are too many bad actors misleading customers and making it harder for the rest of us.
