Community service is in their genes. Afternoon cleanup with employees from Levi's® who volunteered at the SF LGBT Center making care packages, then turned their attention to the streets outside and filled 21 bags of trash.

Over the weekend in San Francisco, 480 volunteers celebrated Mother Earth by removing 500+ bags of pollution from neighborhoods, streets, parks, and beaches. The greatest local story rarely told keeps showing the world how to make litter disappear. Keep it going and join us!

Thanks to the group of volunteers from Bank of America who came out to Washington Square Park to clean in and around it in North Beach, where the bank was founded as the Bank of Italy in SF by A.P. Giannini. 9 very full bags of trash and a thousand cigarette butts removed.

Back-to-back cleanups with Bert Hsu American & Chinese Bicultural Academy around Jefferson Square Park then with International School around Hayes Valley. Inspiring to see these not yet fully formed humans developing into environmental stewards and making an impact protecting the environment.

Honored to be a small part of environmental activist Robin Greenfield who travelled to Mountain Lake Park to join our cleanup as part of his speaking tour of California. Then he sat down to share concepts & advice on how we can live more sustainable lives and spread the message.

Another W with the Women of the Golden State Warriors who came out for a bittersweet cleanup in Potrero Hill. Sad to see the Dubs season end, but excited for the Golden State Valkyries to start. No matter the score, the organization is dedicated to the community and flexed their pride for SF today!

After the markets closed, the team from Jefferies came out to Ocean Beach to clean up litter in the sand, boardwalk, and parking lots. They did a great job picking up lots of cigarette butts and plastic litter making a relatively clean beach even more pristine.

The team from Prologis cleaned up like pros in the Bayview this morning. The Beautiful weather was with us, cleared 40+ bags in 2 hrs. This piece of the city always needs help, please join and participate in our cleanups.

Two Tuesday school cleanups. First, 1st grade class from Hamlin at Crissy Field East Beach who are learning about how litter pollution affect animals. Then, 7th graders from St. John School, trash talk & cleanup around their school in Glen Park. Go kids go!

Another Downtown Volunteer Coalition event organized by HandsOn Bay Area with volunteers from Gap J.P. Morgan Google Visa Crusoe Wells Fargo doing a massive cleanup from the Embarcadero through SOMA all the way to 6th street, roughly 140 city blocks. Love to see it!

Back at it with Kittredge School, this time cleaning Baker Beach, just in time for Memorial Day. Several students said they want to come back on Tuesday after it gets trashed over the weekend.
