I had some questions about how to isolate records missing multiple fields in one step. I've updated the Extract/Delete Selected Records allowing the display field to include "x" and "|" so you can do things like 65x to find all 65[0-9] fields or 010$a|020$a for recs with both

Based on the conversation on the MarcEdit listserv, this weekend, when I update MarcEdit, I'll provide the current consolidated build (which includes all dependencies, etc.) and a 100% self-contained build for assessment. Working on docs regarding differences.

Posted MarcEdit Mac update -- includes dependency updates, rolls core libraries forward, updates the HathiTrust/Internet Archive Plugin and corrects a periodic crashing issue that started showing up after a recent apple update relating when worker threads are running.

MarcEdit 7.5 has been updated, and I've activated the option to have a User only install. While the two version of 7.5 can be installed on the same machine, I wouldn't recommend it. You can read about the Windows download options here: marcedit.reeset.net/downloads

I've definitely have found that getting older has a number of benefits. Probably the best of those, is the time I get to share with my wife. Today, marks our 24th anniversary.

We lost our dog, hazel tonight. It was sudden, and not. She had a tumor that we knew would eventually take her, but I thought I'd have more time with her. Unfortunately, we didn't, and our hearts will have a dog shaped hole in it for a little while.

It's been a little while. I've been spending the past 4-5 months paying some technical debt in the MarcEdit codebase and getting the code ready to work with .NET 6 and 7. This means new versions (7.6.x) is on its way.
