It is different when a soldier dies in combat. We can mourn their loss, but they died with their boots laced up and deserve to be honored for that. When a soldier gets raped in the barracks and the entire chain of command conspires to cover it up there is no honor in that.

#FortHood officer Brendan Lush was missing for days after he reported that his female friend was sexually assaulted. According to his mother, he was threatened by his entire unit for exposing the truth. Today, we still have no answers from the military.
