Two churches in Denbigh Mission Area are finalists in this year's National Church Awards Corpus Christi in the Volunteer awards and Ss Mary & Nefydd in Open for Visitors. CC have now fixed so many gates I had to order 15 more signs #forestchurch NationalChurchTrust @StAsaphDiocese

Harvest season has arrived. For the next month I get to become all Vicar of Dibley and run between harvest lunches and suppers. Already blown away by the generosity of our church congregations for the foodbank despite being in a cost of living crisis.

Today is all about 'traditional'rural village life. Started at the monthly Village Market in Tremeirchion for freshly made pork pie, sausage rolls and cakes. Then onto the church open day/gift day in Bodfari

Very proud to have pastoral care of this church. Not only is the building full of treasures the congregation are wonderful. I love its undulating roof that gives it so much character but we now need to replace the roof before the windows (where the minstrels gallery was) fall in
