It was great to welcome minette batters National Farmers' Union yesterday to showcase the benefits of the Defra UK Farming in Protected Landscapes programme that we're delivering. This enables farmers to access funding for projects that deliver for climate, nature, people and place.

Massively impressed hearing today what's been achieved by National Parks England & @NAAONB family with Farming in Protected Landscapes prog. Over 1,800 farmers engaged - exceeding SFI & from a standing start (though it's not a competition)
