RDA is focused on the issues that are making agriculture dumber. Launched in 2008, RDA started as a grassroots effort to call BS on agricultural information.

Bittersweet announcement but after an amazing 2 years as an infectious disease expert I am moving on. I am now an expert in no-fly zones and Eastern European affairs. Excited to make the most of this new opportunity.

mock americans all you want for whining about gas prices but at $4+ a gallon with min wage at $7.25 a hell of a lot of people who could barely afford groceries and rent who live in rural areas or can't afford housing near their jobs aren't laughing

And honestly, if you're a politician playing Hero of the People now that gas is $4+ a gallon—after spending your career fighting against raising the minimum wage—you can go fuck yourself. (cc: The entire Republican party, Kyrsten Sinema, Joe Manchin)

Turns out Alberta farmers hated Bill 6 because they were actually TOO good to their employees with serious and fatal injuries (according to the replies claiming everyone treats their farm staff well).

The dumb shit ya’ll tweet and retweet with your CV in your bio, then gang-up on anyone that goes against the dumbass conspiracy talking points… Just thinking maybe more farmers should do their talking with their dollars.

Turns out literally everyone in agriculture was right about Farmer’s Edge and there are still a lot of dumb, rich bankers willing to give them more money to burn.

ITT: genuinely nice folks giving good suggestions for staff gifts I’m quick to be an asshole, but should be just as quick to celebrate good people.

What would farmers grow if there was no federal or state money used to support it, and no mandates to buy at product (like ethanol in gasoline)?

Just a reminder to any Farms in the wet areas of the prairies, there is going to be a huge need for green feed in the dry areas. If you can’t get your main crops in the ground in a timely matter there will be good money to be made growing green feed and shipping it west.

This fight over real vs fake meat dumbfounds me. No consumers care, it plays to angry farmers, has costs untold $ in lobbying and litigation, and does nothing for the industry. Perfectly typifies the sad state of most industry groups in livestock right now. Just grow stuff.
