If it’s a pick, would be more than happy to use it for Darcy Cameron. Have also come round to the idea of CDT & Sharp with P1 & 2 if he’s the kind of talent/ruckman they say. Then he’ll get time under Darcy to develop, while Sharp + Hawks pick will give us an immediate impact.

Didn’t play finals… CROWS: 2018 - 2024 = 7 years. FREO: 2016 - 2021 = 6 years. HAWKS: 2019 - 2023 = 5 years. WEST COAST will be A LOT longer. Currently at 5 years.

Haven't been “tough enough” since 2020. The hardest job for Mini might be changing the woeful culture that set in under the former administration.

Can’t see Simmo taking the MELBOURNE gig. He’s raised concerns with their list all year, worried about the number of & reliance on premiership players. Should trade out their high asset stars & get picks in, especially considering they have no 1sts this year. Do what WC didn’t.

Joining WEST COAST Nuffy time with a list of trade targets. Ideally would get 3. Need to balance getting in more leaders alongside long term talent who’ll be playing for the next 5+ yrs. Understandably some are very unlikely…

If WEST COAST can trade for Starcevich-a big IF…then he’d not only add experience, leadership & class, but as Rhino’s mentioned, he wants midfield time. With our current weaknesses, he’d be a fantastic option & another versatile player like Baker. Have to try get him.

This adds more intrigue to WEST COAST’s off season trading & drafting. Does it make CDT more likely? Do they shift away from ruck and focus trades on mids & defenders?

WEST COAST’s most impressive games were against Adl, Bris, Col & Cats. That suggests Mini’s game plan stacks up vs the very best. However, it’ll require constant effort/pressure, greater fitness, improved skills & added personnel before we’re executing consistently for 4 qtrs.

I hope WEST COAST is listening to what Ross Lyon said last night. Chris Scott told him about the Kelly trade & how they held out for more, getting Cameron. He said… “If you’re a club & you trade your contracted players, put your shingle up & say, we’re not a very good club”

Is MELBOURNE teetering on self-sabotage like WC? 14 prem players active + Tasmania's imminent. Don’t wanna be bottom in 2-4yrs. Need more youth than just Pickett, Langford, Lindsay & Windsor. They’ve the chance to cash in (Trac, Fritsch, etc) & reset asap for sustained success.

If WEST COAST’s assistance is additional NGA spots, would supporters be happy with the following outcome? Draft three 1st rounders (1,2,10) + trade remaining picks for Davies, Starcevich & McVee + gain NGA access to Evans, Walley & Banfield. Albeit not sure it’d be possible…

WEST COAST trading Liam Ryan makes no sense for. You lose a leader & quality player. In return you get a 3rd rd pick at best. The trade makes us worse. The ONLY way it turns out okay is if we get Cal Ah Chee…which won’t happen.

Agree. The 2 years prior were completely rudderless. Albeit lost more this season but game style is far clearer & stronger. The youth are developing too. Look forward to Mini getting a full preseason. Players will know the game plan & what’s expected of them. Here’s to next szn

The phrase “orange tsunami” is incredibly overused and tedious. It was a way to describe Leon Cameron’s style. The GIANTS are a completely different team now but they continue to use it…lazy, lazy, lazy.
